The first issue of 19th Century Detective features retired Scotland yard Detective Lane Brain. ( Authors note of claification: The name Lane Brain was originally going to be used in a humor comic strip, but as the character developed it was clear that the 19th Century Detective stories were not going to be humor. However the decision was made to retain the name Lane Brain)
Book one is thirty two pages, standard comic book size, with full color front and back covers. The title is THE GRAYBRIDGE TERROR! (Click here to see a scan of the cover.) This issue is written and penciled by Larned Justin, with inks and letters by Tim Corrigan. 19th Century Detective, The Graybridge Terror, is a solid detective story with a little horror/fantasy thrown in.
